How Perkoon Protects Your Anonymity
No Identity Required
No account creation. No email. No phone number. No OAuth. You're a browser tab to us, and that's exactly how it should be.
No File Logging
We don't log file names, file types, file sizes, or file contents for P2P transfers. We see connection metadata (two browsers connected) — that's it.
Can't Hand Over What We Don't Have
P2P files exist on your device and the recipient's device. Not on ours. A subpoena for file contents would come back empty because we literally don't have them.
Session Codes, Not Accounts
6-character code. Share it however you want. Session ends when you close the tab. No persistent identity, no transfer history, no 'your recent sends.'

What about offline recipients?
Send first, they receive when they join — the queue fires automatically. If you can't keep your tab open long enough, cloud storage lets you upload and share a download link. Different tool for a different problem.
Is it really anonymous?
We don't know who you are. No account, no email, no tracking cookies. Files are DTLS-encrypted and go directly between browsers.
What's the limit?
One sender. One receiver. No file size cap. That's P2P — a direct handoff, not file hosting.
How is this free?
Your devices do the work. We handle connection setup (signaling), which costs almost nothing. Cloud storage is the paid upgrade for when you need a download link.
