File Transfer — Send Any File, Any Size
Other services upload your file to their server, store it, let the other person download it, then charge you when the file gets too big. We skip all of that. Your file goes from your browser to theirs. One hop. That's the whole product.

Why Perkoon Works Better
One Hop, Not Two
Cloud transfer: you upload → server stores → recipient downloads. Two full transfers. P2P: your device → their device. One transfer. Half the time, zero server dependency.
No Artificial Limits
There's no server to enforce a file size cap. No monthly transfer counter. No 'you've used 10 of 10 free transfers this month.' Send what you need, when you need to.
Works in Your Browser
No app to install. No desktop client. Open the page, drop files, share the code. Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Firefox, and Safari.
Encrypted in Transit
WebRTC uses DTLS encryption for all data channels. Your files are encrypted the moment they leave your browser until they arrive at the recipient's. We never see the contents.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do both people need to be online?
Not anymore. Hit send whenever you're ready. If the receiver hasn't joined yet, we queue the transfer and fire it the moment they show up. One sender, one receiver — that's the only rule.
How fast is it?
As fast as the slower connection between you and the recipient. On the same WiFi? Basically instant. Across the internet? Limited by your upload speed — but you're only transferring once instead of twice, so it's still faster than cloud services.
What's the difference between P2P and cloud?
P2P is a direct handoff — one sender, one receiver, no server in the middle. Free, unlimited, private. Cloud is for distribution — upload once, share a download link with anyone. Different tools for different jobs.
Can I send to multiple people?
P2P is one-to-one by design. That's what makes it free and private — no server copy means no distribution. For sharing with a team, cloud storage gives you a download link.
